See, all I can tell you is that do not trust me or anyone entirely on their choices. And that’s not because of intention, but due to judgment. So make sure you do your own research before picking any option.

All I have for you is suggestion of looking at Cryptolinks, and to be more specific on with their Best Upcoming ICOs, as it’s something that will help you greatly. I am not saying this is 100% guaranteed, but this is a professional setup which is much greater than ordinary advice or suggestion by me.

Which altcoin is best for investment?
It depends if you want to just keep purchasing power or if you want to gamble.
In the first case one should buy some serious gold-backed stablecoin

@Mermaid,
quick answer: I don't gamble, so I have no idea.

There is this project, Kinesis, which I'm an affiliate of.
It's a gold-backed stablecoin.
They'll launch on the 1st July, in two weeks.
Until now they have raised over $65M in start-up capital through a token, the kinesis velocity token (KVT).

https://etherscan.io/token/0x3a859b9ea4998d344547283c7ce8ebc4abb77656

20% of the transaction fees arising out of the kinesis monetary system will be distributed to the kvt's owners.
There are and will be only 300,000 kvt's.

It costs $1000, and in the USA is available only to accredited investors, so it's not the usual altcoin for gambling purposes.
Anyway, if their projections become true (look at Blueprint p39), investing in kvt's will become a life changing experience

@Meadow,
there was once a difference between speculating and investing.
Speculators were also called traders.
On the other side there were the investors.
Today that semantic difference is no more relevant.

Traders (gamblers) are not interested in the fundamentals of a company. They follow momentum.
Basically they are chartists, they don't care about market analysis, long term etc.
All they want is to make as much money as quick as possible.

This is what I mean by gambling/speculators and investing.

The reason of Stablecoins is not lose money, to save the purchasing power of their owner.
Currencies' depreciation, inflation = losing purchasing power.

The best altcoins for investing at this stage of the cryptocurrency market are the altcoins from the top 10.
If you decide to invest in them you can be sure of success.
Ethereum is exactly the coin in which it is worth investing money in my opinion.
I was bidding on a pair audio loudspeaker kit on ebay that were grabbed.

What do you mean by gamble?
Remember when you are deciding to invest in altcoin and that just like you are gambling with the progress that will created by altcoin. that's why he was calling it as a gamble but when we invest in a promising platform like harmony, veil and monero and that will not become a gambling.

What do you mean by gamble?
I mean this

Many people do not differentiate between the following terms when they invest their hard-earned money in different asset classes, particularly in stock market and often get confused between;

1.     Saving

2.     Investment

3.     Speculations

4.     Gambling

Investment can be defined as “The employment of funds to acquire certain assets after due diligence for mid to long period of time, with the objective of wealth creation and additional income in future”

Speculative investment can be defined as “The employment of funds to acquire assets for shorter duration of time to take advantage of fluctuations in prices of underlying assets”

However, Gambling can be defined as “The employment of funds for entertainment/fun with the chances of return depends upon probability of certain situation or events”. For example, deploying funds on horse racing can be defined as gambling.

Finally, let's not forget history

For centuries, there has been a consensus that investing is useful and ought to be encouraged.
There has been a consensus that gambling is dangerous and ought to be discouraged or even outlawed.
