What is your best Bitcoin Security practices?

From bitcoin.org:
Quote
Like in real life, your wallet must be secured. Bitcoin makes it possible to transfer value anywhere in a very easy way and it allows you to be in control of your money. Such great features also come with great security concerns. At the same time, Bitcoin can provide very high levels of security if used correctly.Always remember that it is your responsibility to adopt good practices in order to protect your money.

I think there's no need to rush into bitcoin right now. Because it's not stable. I want to buy crypto. As long as it's at an affordable price. It might take off soon from some news. Or one person's activity on the internet. It's been a long time since I've seen one person have such an impact on so many people. It's even frightening. I don't think it's hard to keep bitcoin safe. It just takes a good wallet to get started. And then you just save it up. I also use different exchanges for other cryptocurrencies. It's interesting.

Best security practice with bitcoin is storage in some kind of cold wallet, that is a wallet that is not connected to the internet. Beyond that a physical back up of the seed phrase stored in a safe place... the safest of places likely being a safety deposit box at a bank.

Great tip! By no means should one store the information on a piece of paper randomly in the house or in electronic notes or anything like that.

Like someone said previously in this topic, storing it written down in a safe in a bank would be a good way of storing it. Alternatively, if you can get a good safety deposit box for your home, that's a good option, too.

Nano ledger in a safe for me. Build up in an Exodus wallet and then periodically transfer over.

I have simple methods - I never turn off my antivirus, and I have one of the best. I also try not to go to dubious sites and do not install dubious software. If it is necessary or interesting, I use a virtual machine.

Cold storage (or offline wallets) is one of the safest methods for holding bitcoin, as these wallets are not accessible via the Internet, but hot wallets are still convenient for some users.
