What is your best Bitcoin Security practices?

The very important security practise is a strong password which is not used on any other website or account. This is the simplest rule, right? But still not everyody understand it's power.

Hey,

The best and most secure way is to use encryption to hide information, and if can handle a piece of paper then that is the safest way because devices can are hackable if not now might be possible in future.

I also think same any piece of technology can be hacked in not today might be in the future, but a piece of paper is safer and impossible to hack from any remote location..

When it comes to the safety of Bitcoin, one needs to consider the following safety rules: -
1. If you are using online services like bitcoin exchange make sure that you use a strong password which is harder to guess by anyone. You can also make it more safe with 2-Factor-Authentication.

2. Directly control your bitcoins through private keys. Never share your private keys with anyone. Keep it safely. If unknowingly you have lost your private key always keep a paper wallet with you safely to access your crypto.
3. Backup your bitcoin wallet regularly.
4. Always check that you are logging in your wallet by opening the link directly in the browser, otherwise you can fall victim to phishing attack.

5. Can use Hardware wallets like the Trezor to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.

I think this is a great summary of many things you need to consider for security of your coins. I also think the private keys are a big aspect of security and really keeping them private is very important, if not anyone can have access to your coins... And I got the impression that a paper wallet really is the safest option for choosing a wallet. Also it might make sense to use a laptop that you only use for cryptos and to use Linux on that...
