From bitcoin.org:
Quote
Like in real life, your wallet must be secured. Bitcoin makes it possible to transfer value anywhere in a very easy way and it allows you to be in control of your money. Such great features also come with great security concerns. At the same time, Bitcoin can provide very high levels of security if used correctly.Always remember that it is your responsibility to adopt good practices in order to protect your money.

A lot of people store it on just a piece of paper, then they put that paper into a safety deposit box in a bank. That's pretty secure. I have also heard of people memorizing it and not storing it physically but that sounds pretty risky.
But paper can burn, flood and etc. It`s no very smart.

In the context of the financial markets, the assets being traded are called financial instruments. These can be stocks, bonds, currency pairs on the Forex market, options, futures, margin products, cryptocurrency, and many others

Use only trusted wallets. That's it. Nothing special to be honest.

I don’t have all my assets in a single account. They are diversified across several accounts for risk management.
