Hey Folks,

Shot this today, for your viewing pleasure, inside our facility. You will see some of our miners in a 6TH/s node we recently set up.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but anyone who pays $8k for this miner has virtually no chance of recovering their investment, even if it ships today.
At current difficulty and Bitcoin price, a 200 GH/s ASIC, mining with a pool, now generates around $65 a day. But if the difficulty continues to increase by around 30% every 12 days, revenue will have fallen to $23 a day by the end of January and $8 by the end of February. Soon after this the machine will be completely worthless, unless Bitcoins are worth several times more than they are at the moment, in which case you'd have done better by using your $8k to buy BTC.

If you mine solo with this, your chance of finding a block (currently worth about $18k) in the next 12 days is approximately 1 in 24. By the end of March the odds will have risen to about 1 in 200 for a given 12 day period. I'm not guessing here...anyone can do the same calculations with data which is readily available. Of course the rise in difficulty could slow down, but with the next generation of super ASICs coming on line in the next few months this doesn't seem likely.

Sorry, but you're throwing your money away. If the hash rate (i.e. difficulty) continues to increase at the current rate, your miner will recover about $3500 before it costs more to run it than it generates in Bitcoin. Your only chance is to hope that the price of Bitcoin doubles over the next two months, but even that will leave you only marginally in profit.

It looks as if Visionman is currently mining with banks of these ASICs (see their video), but is now selling them because their brief span of profitability is almost at an end. This seems to be the favoured business model for ASIC manufacturers. And there are always plenty of mugs prepared to buy because they haven't crunched the numbers of simply cannot understand the concept of hash-rate rise = diminishing returns.

Well, all i can say is that your understanding of bitcoin is highly clouded. there is not a machine, cloud, or means of making any bitcoin venture at all with a profit right away any more. It is clear to see and tell when someone has not been a part of the bitcoin community for very long. so i am going to make things a little clearer for you.

When i started mining bitcoin (5 years ago) they were worth about a nickle $0.05 each, and i had about $7,000 in GPU hardware mining away. 2 solid years of mining, and machines dying left and right. no ROI, then, this past october, Whamo, overnight millionaire. and i made about 1,000 X the return on my investment.

The same model holds true today, now i have millions in hardware, will never see the instant ROI on it, as will nobody see a real ROI on any hardware, but 2-5 years from now, when BTC value increases. TaDa, you made your money back and then some.

If you in Bitcoin for profit, and think your going to make it now. you best quit while your ahead and go blow your money on video games or just buy bitcoin for cash. Meanwhile in another 2-5 years, i am going to re-visit this post, and add one more post after it which will simply read "i told you so" as my posts read today in reply to those who were just like you 2-3 years ago.

Hello everyone that is interested in the group buy for the Visionman Prospector 200.

We will run our first Group Buy at a low unit count - 10, not 20.

All of those members of Bitcoinforum interested will have their names posted in this thread. When we reach 10, I will process your orders and ship them out to you!

The offering stands, however, Shadow Angel is not recognized by Visionman as the organizer of the group buy. We must maintain the integrity of the order and are only able to do that from within Visionman.

Visionman has lowered the market price of the Prospector 200 to $5,499 on our website, since a week ago. This offer is well below that price.

For those of you wishing to do this group buy- the rates will remain the same - $4650 per unit free shipping in USA.

International shipping will be extra.

I am looking forward to assisting you in the group buy.

We prefer to accept BTC as a payment method. Other methods of payment are available.

Contact me directly - visionmansales@gmail.com or 415-748-9739

Thanks!
