I completely agree with the opinion not to trust anyone but yourself. This rule especially concerns various financial operations and trading.

I understand that this advice is meant to be cynical but it's getting to the gist of it. Like in any kind of economic situation, you are forced to make your own decisions - but you can learn where to look for information.
May you live in interesting times

I dont....better trust your mom or dad...they are at least real ;)
Since I am quite new in the cryptocurrency world (compared to others) I realize that the security factor is as important or maybe more important than making good decisions in where to invest or not...

Trust no one.  They all have vested interests.  Trust your decisions but be sure before even doing something big when doing bitcoin, do not spend more of what you're not prepared to lose.

Wallet security is the worst issue faced by the cryptocurrency traders as there are a lot of hackers which always keep an eye on snatching and stealing your coins. You can not trust anybody on the money markets including cryptocurrencies. Am I right folks!

You are strictly advised to trust nobody on the money markets inculding cryptocurrency market. You have to trust the one who has good market vlaues and reputation whether he is a trader or a platform. Stay safe and be wise!

A good post for the newbies to the crypto world. Yes, I agree with the fact that you can not trust anybody on the money market. You have to stay sharp all the time for keeping yourself safe from any kind of scam. You also need to keep learning as much as possible for gaining profits.

I will say in simple words, you just not need to trust ANYONE. If you do then you are absolutely fooling around. It is incredibly necessary to just follow the trend and do whatever you are comfortable with.

I just follow the stuff happening in the Crypto space and rest is all manageable. The current thing of notice is around Binance as they released the demo of decentralized exchange. So these are the things to look at.

I agree with all this FAQ and it's answers. These are the most important things to always put in mind wherever you are, whatever you do. That's why "trust" is valuable these days. We can't just trust anybody right away. It must be gained with patience. Always DYOR.

Yes trust no one, but sometimes taking a risk is a bang! My crypto friend introduce MyShield to me and so far I can say that this project is worth trusting for.

That's it. Nothing we can found in his/her merit history. That's actually normal and understandable if 100 merits was allocated due to the account rank (maybe Full member), but I don't think someone wanted to delete all historical posts to drop account rank to Newbie. Sounds mad. Should delete gradually if he/she want to do this.

This is a huge cryptocurrency problem. If they steal it from you, no one will help you. After all, this is not the gov. money. For the goverment, it is like a toy of monopoly money. From here and all the problems with the trust. There are no guarantees that you will get something, give it away, change it for cryptocurrency.
Therefore, no one trusts anyone. It is terrible to realize that when complete freedom is equal to complete impunity.

well, i don't think just because its crypto you can't trust anyone. one should be cautious at all times, i agree, but not trusting will never benefit. some of them are actually genuine. i always keep my guard up, but not de-trusting all time.

I do not agree that you should never sell. From 20,000 it was very necessary to sell. Yes, and now you can sell. Bitcoin did not show uniform stable growth in price.

Those were good advice. If you're a newbie, never really trust anyone as you're prone to being scammed.
HODLing will be the best thing you can do while you're on the learning process especially if have you have is BTC.

Bitcoin community is for those who are into bitcoin for a while and have a decent amount of experience to share with the community for best guidance in this era of information.
As a Newbie First you must gain knowledge about Cryptocurrencies, knowledge is endless but searching right kind of knowledge from the right source is necessary, Learn the basics about cryptos what are they, how they work, trusted platforms for exchange, companies exchange rate on trading as well on withdrawals, payments methods, type of security they are providing, look into their policies, TnC and other details.

All the above comments are right, trust no one but you have to be knowledgeable enough to trust yourself. Trading is fun when understood properly and the same goes for life. Also, Make sure to be in touch with these kinds of forums, it helps a lot in gaining experience about the trading market.

There’s a fraudster who had been going about in the guise of wanting to help people “mix” their cryptocurrency using his platform; mycryptomixer,com/ and then vanishing with it... He uses the advantage of anonymity to shield his animosity and unsuspecting individuals who want to be discreet about their transactions fall victim by using the platform...So far he has made away with 13 bitcoins and counting!! Do the maths!!!

As a newbie that has already fallen prey to the thieves.  I would say: yes, do not trust anyone.  There are a thousand groups in telegram and other chat sites.  they will not provide you with any valuable information, though you can learn about new coins and a few tidbits that might prove to be interesting.

Additionally, do not trust anyone who "volunteers" trading information or investing information or even learning resources.

Do not invest in any site that does not have at the very least some minimal level of security.  If you do not *need* to create an account to start trading, do not trade or invest.  There are a handful of sites that have high security measures in their sites and their wallets.  search in those.  trade in those.

and pretty much like in real life.  If a "news" sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

The crypto space is ripe for scams given the irreversibility of transactions and general lack of regulation. Trusting any individual in the space would be foolish however there are reputable organizations providing crypto related services that have been around for a while and can be trusted like Swan Bitcoin or BlockFi.

It's the wild west unfortunately so I don't trust anyone. Dabbled with some HYIPs but gone into them with my eyes open knowing they will scam out so aimed to get in and get out early. Made some money doing that but best to avoid them really. More stress than they are worth.
