Starting to look like the reduced supply is sending up the price a bit.

This is inevitable. Less force is required to push up the bitcoin price. High prices coming, oh! ;)

The fact that bitcoin will soon reach its 21 million limit and more and more bitcoin miners are using fast mining rigs if we also add the products of Butterfly Labs for sure price will soon sky rocket again!  ;D

Mt. Gox said that a large part of the April drop in price was due to a huge increase in accounts created. I wonder how correlated price is with adoption?
I +karma for great ideas/conversation!

It's more than 50 years.

Less than 127 years from now.

The last block that will generate coins will be block #6,929,999 which should be generated at or near the year 2140 https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/FAQ#How_long_will_it_take_to_generate_all_the_coins.3F

But I think it will be less than 127 because yearly more computers are getting faster and faster. Not to mention the research currently conducted in different countries to improve the computing capabilites of computers.

Computers may get fast but you should take into account increasing difficulty and lowering Prize. so the estimate of 2140 may be true
