Hi, I'm a new guy here and new to bitcoin. In fact today I opened up a mywallet.com account and "tried" to deposit $20USD for my first bitcoin purchase.  It didn't go so well, this is what happened:



I purchased through mywallet.com, chose a location (CVS pharmacy), and I received an email receipt from ZipZap for $23.95.


That was my first surprise.  $23.95 for $20 worth of BC ($3.95 charge!).  But I wanted to just try out BC and see what it was all about so I decided to pay the $3.95.
Next, I went to CVS and used the [censored] phone.  When I went to the register to pay, only $20 was charged (instead of $23.95) and then the transaction was voided as I assume because the amount wasn't correct.  So I went the process a 2nd time, and the same thing happend.  Void.  Kid in the car, waiting paitiently, so I just gave up for the day.


So, not the best experience my first go-round.  Hoping someone can give me some advice in how to transact USD to BC easy, with low fees, using mywallet.com.

I have been listening to Freetalklive's podcast and one of the host described purchasing this way.  Only his transactions sounded so easy.  And no mention of the 3.95 fee.

Its a big world of bitcoin...buy from other place if it doesnt work.... Why to waste time repeating same thing..
