Your suggestion got me thinking,

There could be rewards based on the current karma system. Set it to where you receive a point when you hit a certain amount of + karma like 10, 25, 50, 100, etc... Also if you receive so many + karmas on a single thread that you started, you could earn a point. These ideas came to mind when I read your suggestion stesaint. What do you think?

I have a suggestion 

Say for every 5 points someone gets, they also get a 'mod point' which allows then to decide if another user's post was worth an extra point. So like a karma system, someone with many points for good posts can then give out extra points for good posts from anyone else as well.

This is an amazing idea! I wish all forums gave the ability to earn mBTC for posting, etc. Kudos!
