Wow. Those scammers have absolutely no shame, not only they pretend to be official accounts of cryptos (eth, xlm, pkt and almost every other crypto) and crypto traders but as bitcoinforum too?

Money markets are full of scammers and they will try to attack you on any platform whether you are on a website, social media platform, or any where else. You need to stay sharp and patient before taking any decision related to your investments. Thanks!

Are there people in the 21st century who are being led to this stupid scam? It’s not enough that you yourself pay for participation in an unlikely lottery for big money (which is not profitable because of roi), you do it also in the company where the winnings are not paid.

Unfortunately, cryptocurrency really attracts a large number of scammers. In addition, many people do not try to take care of their safety and this only helps to increase the number of such cases. Therefore, I always try to be careful and check resources.

As long as you only provide your Twitter username on giveaways like this I think it is safe. If you're asked to deposit crypto to a certain account or even click a link that could lead to a phishing site, stay away from that promo.

This still exists even its 2020, lol! But it wasn't Twitter, on my part was through Telegram. Messaging me in a friendly tone and offered me like sending BTC to my address but he said I need to pay the fees first or something. I blocked him instantly. Awareness is the key. We shouldn't fall as a victim.

There are ongoing efforts these days to impersonate any person or organization with a large crypto following... in order to take advantage of their audience for some kind of "give-away" scam.

I advise you to look for tokens on a special service that tracks fraudulent projects itself.I use ListingSpy.net , it helps a lot.

New coins can bring a good profit, of course, the risks are high, but if you carefully analyze the project, use the aforementioned service, then the risks, although not reduced to zero, will be significantly minimized. I have to agree that scammers have increased greatly in number these days. But one thing is for sure if traders don’t try to take any shortcuts, they can save themselves from getting scammed. Just don’t believe all that you read.

Are there people in the 21st century who are being led to this stupid scam? It’s not enough that you yourself pay for participation in an unlikely lottery for big money (which is not profitable because of roi), you do it also in the company where the winnings are not paid.

I want to emphasize the importance of being vigilant when it comes to social media scams. These Twitter scams are unfortunately becoming more and more common, and it's important to remember that legitimate giveaways from reputable sources will never require you to send coins in return.

If you have already fallen victim to this scam and have lost crypto assets, Recovery101 can help. The specialize in recovering stolen or lost crypto assets and have a team of experts ready to assist you. You can reach out to them recovery101@cyberdude.com for more information on their services.

In the meantime, make sure to report the scam account to Twitter so they can take appropriate action. It's important to protect the crypto community from these types of scams and prevent others from falling victim. Stay safe out there!
