Buying Bitcoins/Litecoins for Paypal/Credit Card
« on: December 28, 2011, 02:55:56 AM »
I don't understand why people don't sell bitcoins often for Paypal or via credit card? I have only found one reliable site newbielink:http://www.mrcoins.org [nonactive] that sells Bitcoins for Paypal/Credit Card. You would think there would be tons of options towards buying Bitcoins, as I would like to invest a little every so often into bitcoins, but I can't find any good places to buy. Mr.Coins is fast and has a good method of getting your your Bitcoins, but they can't keep their stock up, and as of now are asking $5 per bitcoin when the price is below $4 each. Are there any other sites or ways to buy bitcoins, or is there just something that makes them hard to buy? If anyone knows people or sites that sell them, I'm looking to buy a few hundred dollars in bitcoins.

You have some exchanges to choose from where you can transfer cash from your creditcard  and after that buy BTC.

Because PayPal transactions can be rolled back, but Bitcoin transactions can not.

The same happens with credit cards too, it's too risky to accept those.

Paypal doesn't like bitcoin, it doesn't really like any "virtual currencies" at all. :/

Exactly. Same risk with credit cards.

This is actually not true. It is simply because of charge backs.

Also Mr Coins does not actually sell Bitcoins. They only sell coupon codes for Mt.Gox.

"Mt. Gox (www.mtgox.com) codes (coupons) are the easiest way to instantly purchase bitcoin. Here at Mr Coins, we sell redeemable Mt. Gox codes via PayPal. "
