At an April 25 meeting of the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors in California, members unanimously decided to continue implementing the use of digital wallets for government services and official documents. According to the final consensus of the meeting, the white label digital wallet supported by HUMBL will start a 3-stage pilot program starting from July 2023. Testers during the pilot will be mobile users seeking access to government services such as bike registration and RV parking registration. Other potential pilots would be registration of park facilities, tracking volunteer hours, distribution of counter building permits and pet permits.
