I'm also looking for this problem...
Maybe only newbies aren't allowed to post links...

It seems this is a restriction for newbies to prevent posting suspicious links.

I'm testing:
https://google.com

UPD:
No, I'm still a newbie but I can post external links.

No, Ethereum is becoming cheaper than Bitcoin. A few months ago 1 ETH was 0.08 BTC, now 1 ETH = 0.07. Thus the prices of these cryptocurrencies are moving asynchronous.

You need to look at some web store that accepts Bitcoin. These are the e-commerce sites. You can send them your coins and they will deliver you goods that you have bought.

Security and technical support / Re: How Bitcoin mining works?
« on: February 14, 2018, 07:29:48 AM »
Basically it works like this:
Every ten minutes or so mining computers collect a few hundred pending bitcoin transactions (a “block”) and turn them into a mathematical puzzle. ... The miner who found the solution gets 25 bitcoins as a reward, but only after another 99 blocks have been added to the ledger.
The first miner to find the solution announces it to others on the network. The other miners then check whether the sender of the funds has the right to spend the money, and whether the solution to the puzzle is correct.
The mining-pool get 12.5 BTC per block, not 25 BTC. This stage has already passed. By the way, in the beginning of Bitcoin the miners received 50 BTC per block.

This is primarily because the technology is improved bitcoin
The Lighting Network is not widely deployed yet. Actually, this technology is just a banking outside of the blockchain of Bitcoin. The opening and closing a channel is pretty expensive for an ordinary users.

The Bitcoin price has the potential to rise 4,000 percent over the coming decades, enabling the flagship cryptocurrency to one day achieve a $4 trillion market cap.
That’s according to longtime Bitcoin bulls Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who first invested in Bitcoin when it was valued at $120 and became the first verified bitcoin billionares

Based on this assessment, he said that Bitcoin could end up with a market capitalization similar to that of gold, which is currently valued at $7 trillion. Bitcoin, he predicted has a “potential appreciation of 30 to 40 times,” which would set the Bitcoin price above $320,000 and result in a circulating market cap of at least $4 trillion
Those brothers own about 1% of all Bitcoins in the world. Of course, they will praise Bitcoin and promise a big profit to a new investors. Probably, they trade with some part of their coins on the crypto exchange markets.

During the last months, South Korea has appeared in the news because of different cryptocurrency regulations. The government has been warning the society about the different risks that cryptocurrencies pose to investors. But South Koreans do not want to allow the government to create more regulations over these currencies.
Investors was really afraid that the government will ban the crypto exchange markets in the South Korea which is about 25% of the global market. Therefore the price of Bitcoin fell due to the panic sales.

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's CEO and co-founder has mentioned that he will start to study encryption and cryptocurrencies in 2018. Every single year, Mark Zuckerberg proposes himself a new challenge. During the lasts years he has been studying Mandarin, visiting every US state and he even run 365 miles.
As far as I know, a few days ago Facebook has banned an ICO advertisment. Some pages of the ICO projects has been blocked due to the new policity of this company.

What is your Bitcoin-address?

You can check out your coins, for example, on this site: blockchain.info
