Yep, I was betting with bitcoin and it was kinda fun. The biggest problem was when BTC was somewhere near to ATH value and all the transactions were very slow and expensive.

Somebody knows a good exchange I should add ?

Maybe it is worth to create a regional exchange guide? As one good exchange for one region might be absolutely useless in another

Regulation and taxes. In some regions where the Internet and financial markets are regulated it might be hard to make an investment decision like that. One day your Bitcoins might become illegal. Taxes is another issue that may be a stopper for some people, who doesn't like to mess with stuff like that.

Bitcoin discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will change, like PayPal did?
« on: November 27, 2018, 09:37:23 AM »
Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin itself is a nice technology, but the main thing here is the regulation. PayPal is regulated and you pay not only for the transaction but also for the security and for the regulation it has. Once Bitcoin will be regulated, it may have the same additional costs that will be charged by the companies working with Bitcoin.

One of the things that can be added is the Miners' profit issue. If the price of Bitcoin will be keep falling, then there will be a massive problem with mining as a business, which can become a problem for the crypto market itself.

Basically there is no difference, which coins will you choose to invest in. They all follow Bitcoin and overall trend of the market. So basically, if you are about to buy some coins, then any coin from the top 20 marketcap can be chosen.

I try not to spend my cryptocoins, but shit can happen every day, so you always need to be prepared. If you are a cryptocurrency fan, then probably it is not a choice for you to spend it.

Bitcoin discussion / Re: What is your best Bitcoin Security practices?

The best practice to secure your crypto money - is to think and check twice before making any transaction. Most mistakes that were made by me were made when I was making my decisions in hurry!
