I just received a nice email from HashFast concerning my complaint. They assured me they are on the ball and trying to take care of this problem . They said people are getting refunds and that it is taking a while but it will happen . I did ask them to think about getting rid of that silly refund form to sign as that makes a person a little paranoid about things . [/size] they told me they would give complete instructions for setting up the yoli evo boards if I took the upgrade offer . Which was a worry for me since I know nothing about this type of hardware .  Things are looking up with this response from them . I will be giving them some time to resolve the issue .  I certainly hope they are moving along in  business as I think they have very talented people on the job and I would like to be checking out their stuff in the future as I think some asic instead of gpu equipment would be a great thing from them for mining them other types of coins which I own some of and would like to mine more but not with a gpu.  Also their prices just can not be beat .

Hashfast has now pushed the march 2014 date to June . Also offering a big upgrade if you wait instead of asking for refund . the upgrade is this - For every 400 GH/s Baby Jet ordered, we will send you our Yoli Evo Mining Board as well as a power supply and liquid cooling system. This will get you hashing up to 800 GH/s, in an open configuration without the chassis (just bring your own controller).
What controller is needed ? people with no tech experience in this will not know what this is .

Now the big problem as I see it is not just the fact that they will never deliver this on time either but that now you have no babyjet case and controller and must provide this your self . I have no idea where one would get a controller for an evo board but just another expense any way .
They say you can put it in your babyjet case but it does not fit right and you will need to be careful about moving it around  .
I demanded a refund and was told to fill out some legal form releasing them from any legal actions . Not happening . I told them just to give me a refund and it is over . Very simple just like any other retailer would do . No answer from them .

So I got stupid and bought the babyjet . Of course no baby jet rver showed up at my door . I did request a refund and was sent a link to a legal document to sign that I of course refused to sign . I just want a refund as per their terms of sale .
No reply from them after I replied telling them to jsut refund my money so i would not have to send the document to my attorney to read thus costing me more money for no reason .
I expect legal action is going to be the only way to be made whole in this .

thanks . that is what I was thinking but was not sure . Now if I could just buy one . Seems impossible . [censored] has a horrible business model and customer service . Been trying to get ID verified with no luck so i could trade them . VirWox is really strange and I have yet to figure out a way to use their service .

Okay so i look at the trading going on in bitcoin . It says that 1 btc is about 872.00 . It also says 0.21333220 btc price in USD 867.00 .
So if 1 btc cost 872 then how can less than 1/4 of a btc cost that also ? Is 0.21333220 not less than 1/4 of a coin ?

Coreminer IS a scam.

Realflow is part of it attempting to drum up peoples interest in a non-existant product.

I'd strongly advise steering clear of Coreminer, as well as anything Realflow posts.
Exactly what I was thinking . Pushes it too much . Either a part in the scam or just being a jerk

I am still thinking on this . It is just that by March  or when ever they decide to ship which could be 10 years from now will the difficulty be so big that even a 400 will not be worth owning .

Anyone know if the bitcoin calculators factor in the rise in difficulty for the time period you put in to run the miner ? If it only goes by current difficulty then their figures are way off .

I am trying to buy bitcoins to trade but it seems like it is almost impossible . Even after giving my bank passwrod to [censored] ( a very huge thing to ask of someone ) and credit card verification  I still can not buy instantly but must wait days for a coin .Their ID verify does not work.

also would like to know if anyone has had any dealing s with hashfast . do they ship when they say or are they another BFL ?

what if coreminer is nothing but a scam . ridiculous low prices usually mean scam . Their reason for selling so low is admirable and could be legit but I would not risk thousand s of bucks on it .
Wait for someone else to buy one and see if they get screwed or not  .

Bitcoin mining / Re: Is it worth having 600 Gh/S Mining from BFl
« on: December 10, 2013, 02:51:29 PM »
hashfast is where i am going I think . BFL is raping people on price to make max profit before it all ends  . I would not expect this to last through next year before it is no way to profit . too many big miners going up.
Coreminer claims they are not trying to make a profit but trying to get more coins out there and more people using them so the coins they have will go up in value . they said they made a lot of cash mining with their own miners for a long time and now just want the value to rise .  This is reasonable thinking  but still way tooo cheap to trust it . If it is too good to be true it usually is . I will buy from them when i see someone who owns one  here .

Problem with hashfast is that late March delivery and you know that means August . A 400 GH may be useless by then

I just read their faq. I sent them email asking when they expect to ship if I bought now .
They say they have been mining but want to build these so others will join in and spend coins and make them worth more so they can make more . But .. what if them knowledgeable people know the whole thing in mining is about to come to an end so they are just trying to make as much cash as possible by selling rigs before the demise of profit in mining sets in .
I am thinking of waiting as the whole thing sounds just too cheap to be real .

wonder if they have ever sold product in past  or if this is all new . Looking for reviews but have not found any yet . If it was all good I would buy one as the calculator , which of course could be off by large amount , says I could break even in 6 days and profit 41,470 in 3 months . I would be happy to profit a few hundred bucks a month after break even if it paid for it's self in a month or so . Money is money . If I do not have to work for it , a little is fine .

Looks like good equipment at a fair price but I just am not sure I would want to give 3K to a company that only accepts bitcoins . What is up with that ? They could simply skate with everyone's cash and never give up anything . Since they are in Sweden no way to go after them if they did .

Bitcoin mining / 400GH/s miner , is it worth buying
« on: December 07, 2013, 04:02:25 PM »
Is a 400GH/s miner worth buying ? A lot of people seem to think that there is no way to make money mining . If I bought this and got it in March would it still be able to make a profit ?

anyone have profits doing this ? If so how about posting them . I never seem to find any posts that show anyone's actual income . Well I did find one and it was 300 a month a couple months ago . Not sure what equipment they were using
