2023 is going to be extremely interesting year when everything combined, but honestly, I'm quite surprised that everything has been more or less stable when you think about what has happened on the macroeconomic scale.

Marketplace / Re: good marketplace?

In theory, PayPal allows paying with Bitcoin, so you can technically buy a lot of things over it, but I assume you meant a marketplace for like used goods, something like FB or Craigslist?

Off-topic / Re: How many subscribers do I need in TikTok?
« on: December 29, 2022, 09:05:45 AM »
Just saw some people post ad revenues from TikTok. Compared to how many million views they have, it was EXTREMELY low. I think TikTok is about trying to converge those followers to other platforms (IG, YT), especially since you can pretty much easily build the audience there, but the question what's the actual % rate of it.

I think it was back in 2013, I started mining ETH on a couple of ADM GPU's. Oh boy they were going back then :D

Interesting, we're on the verge of another bull market looking at this. I don't how I feel about it next to the rapid inflation and general economic state of basically the whole world, but maybe this could be a playground for others who pullout their money from their more conventional investments.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, feel free to make pros and cons for the RTX 4000 series too, I'm on the verge between these two.

Bitcoin mining / Experience in Mining with RX 7000 Series
« on: December 20, 2022, 08:45:11 AM »
Just saw last week's launch of AMD's new RX 7000 series of GPUs.

What do you think about having a go at mining with a couple of them, they do output around 100-130 MH/s? I know it's not the right moment, but maybe in the long run it would make sense.

What would be the latest and most profitable ASIC machine in this space? I assume Antminer is still going stronger in this field?

Altcoin mining / Re: Is the dual mining real in ETH?
« on: December 15, 2022, 09:39:54 AM »
I've seen dual mining in combination with ETC + KASPA, but it's a bit tedious process TBH. I'm a bit worried about the GPU's long term here, especially if you're planning to resell them and close the investment with it.

Bitcoin tutorials / Re: Soft Fork vs. Hard Fork
« on: December 14, 2022, 05:25:17 PM »
A hard fork is a type of change to the underlying software of a blockchain network that makes previously invalid blocks and transactions valid, and vice versa. This is a significant change to the network, and it requires all nodes and users to upgrade to the new software in order to continue participating in the network. Because a hard fork is a more drastic change, it provides an opportunity to make more significant improvements to the network and can also help to address critical issues more effectively.
