Actually its a nice idea.

Thanks for the bump.

So if this isn't already being developed, where/how should someone start to go about building it?

Politics, society / So is anyone here politically active?

I had a thought about how we could help fix the electorate.

I made a post here in politics:
https://www.bitcoinforum.com/politics-society/bitcoin-solution-to-voter-fraud-and-voting-machines/msg3408/#msg3408

tl;dr:
bitcoin-like voting network, receipt/address can be verified on a blockchain.
So I'm new here and was just wondering what you all thought?

Well if Bernanke suddenly stops QE and some miracle saves the economy then maybe it won't reach $1,000. Otherwise yeah I think bitcoin breaks $1,000 this year.

So I am new here on the forum. New to bitcoin.
Hi everyone, so far after everything I have read all I can say is that I am very impressed.

I have been wondering, sense the bitcoin network can verify transactions anonymously. Do you think it would be possible to develop a similar system for a voting network?

I imagine it would have a receipt or you could use your address to check the blockchain to verify your vote.
If this is in development somewhere already please point me in it's direction, otherwise I would love to hear your thoughts on the idea.
