Please abide by the following extremely reasonable rules if you intend to post in the forums.
1. No spam:
Spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum, email, chat, visitor messages, picture comments and private message systems to spam other members.

1.1 No referral links:
Referral link in submission is not allowed.
2. No begging for donations:
This brings nothing of value to the community and in turn degrades the validity of what Bitcoin Forum aims to do.
3. No Flaming:
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Use common sense while posting.
4. No Offensive Content:
Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Use common sense. We want to show this website to our mums.
5. No Suspicious download links:
Remember, we strongly recommend that you never click suspicious links or download executable files. Also, keep in mind to keep yourself safe, never download anything that isn't from a known and trusted source. This is basic Internet security.
If you see a suspicious link posted on the forums or sent to you in a Private Message, report it!
5.1 No URL shortening:
Posts using URL shortening services is not allowed. Always submit the real URL.
6. No Illegal Content:
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain or provide software ("warez") or music is forbidden.
7. No Cross-posting:
Posting a thread in more than one forum is annoying and thus not allowed. Just post it once in the correct place.
8. Signature:
To avoid annoyance, signatures should not be more than 4 lines of text or 80px height. If images are used in a signature, they should be smaller than 15KB.

Any penalties for the above rules are at the moderation team's discretion.
People have been banned from the site in the past for causing trouble in the forums.
