How do i underclock a 5750 to 290mhz memory?

(1/1)

drakahn:
On the mining hardware comparison page they say they can get 190MH/s out of a 5750 by using 930mhz gpu and 290mhz mem but overdrive only goes down to 1000mhz memory and afterburner only goes down to 570, and both won't go above 870mhz gpu, so what do i have to do to get higher gpu and lower memory clocks?

You may need to flash your card with a different BIOS, do you have a reference card ?

actually cgminers built in clock changing worked for me, guiminer was still faster but cgminer set the clocks nicely

Maybe because your card wasn't locked, some are.
