How do you install a pre-synchronized block chain?

I'm brand new and just installed the official bitcoin client. It was taking for ever to "synchronize" and I red newbielink:https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/FAQ#How_long_does_.22synchronizing.22_take_when_the_Bitcoin_client_is_first_installed.3F_What.27s_it_doing.3F [nonactive] I could download a pre-synchronized block chain called bootstrap.dat. The only problem is I don't know what to do next?

I would recommend you to use Electrum. Electrum Bitcoin client do not need sync (downloading) the block chain.
