Stolen Bitcoins
« on: December 24, 2017, 11:06:29 PM »

Some of my bitcoins got stolen , how can I find who stole that ?

And if that person shapeshifts my Bitcoins to Ethereum , Litecoin or Dash , then can I still trace him or all tracing info gets lost ?

Thank you in advance.

This happened to me as well using a masked site.  Shapeshift said the address wasn't one of theirs, and if the beauty of bitcoin is every transaction is compounded and part of the historical profile, it should be traceable but it appears since there is no one at 'bitcoin' per se, there's not going to be anyone to help or even be able to see it---which pretty much renders anything 'safe' about it completely useless.
